Namur organised its property forum for the third time on 28 August

As noted by the organisers, Building Culture is a combination of an afternoon of conferences aimed exclusively at the construction sector, networking opportunities and a cocktail dinner for major industry players. This forum is aimed at architects, construction companies, suppliers, engineering firms, developers and public companies and services.
For three years, Building Culture has established itself as a major annual forum for the construction sector in the Namur region.
The forum welcomed almost 500 people on 28 August 2024. They came to engage in dialogue and learn about trends, challenges and opportunities in the region.
Last April, the BEP highlighted sustainable public projects that were seeking partners from the private sector.

This public initiative complements the Building Culture forum in a major way. This time, stakeholders from the property sector are setting up a series of themed conferences, networking events and an evening of meetings. This second stage in 2024 took place on 28 August 2024 at the Ecolys industrial park, one of the most popular industrial parks in Namur among investors in recent years. This is particularly true of the new incubation hub for the WAKO group.
After presenting three specific projects during the pitch party, Hugues Kempeneers, the General Director of Embuild Wallonie, analysed recent changes to the framework issued by regional authorities for the construction sectors, and analysed their prospects.
Next, speakers from the talk on the vision for 2030 for the strategic development of the Namur region took the floor:
- Laura Latour – The driving force behind the NAMUR 2030 application as European Capital of Culture
- Renaud Degueldre – Director of BEP Namur

The presence of company leaders from the sector, inspiring speakers and networking opportunities make Building Culture a must-be-there event.
