Welcoming SMEs: new complexes are forming on the outskirts of Namur

Several property projects intended to welcome SMEs have recently emerged on the outskirts of Namur. Developers are counting on the appealing location of the Walloon capital, which is central and near road networks that serve the whole of Belgium.
Unparalleled visibility along the E42
In Noville-Les-Bois, BEP Economic Expansion has acquired and sold a plot of land measuring a few dozen acres in the Fernelmont industrial area. This is located along the E42 motorway, and future buildings will offer renters guaranteed visibility and accessibility.
Eight medium-sized complexes are planned for this land, with modular buildings spanning 2,000–2,500 m², and around 90 small modules spanning around 150–200 m². The area will also have 350 parking spaces. The initial work will begin in the coming weeks, with the launch of the first spaces planned for next spring.
The project is being overseen by FWProjects, which brings together multiple partners with extensive expertise in the sector. Notable among these is the Kolmont group from Hasselt, which boasts previous projects in the retail sector, the hotel sector, the residential sector and the semi-industrial sector.
It is worth noting that Isohemp, a neighbouring company to this new complex, will also be able to expands its activities in the future on a neighbouring parcel of land, which has been acquired from the same seller.

Quick link to the Daussoulx interchange
In the Ecolys® park in Rhisnes, Sepejy recently began construction of around twenty modules for SMEs, which will soon be available to rent. This collection of SME units is located along the E42, and will be able to accommodate multiple companies who want a direct link to the Daussoulx interchange. Expected activities include transforming materials, packaging, storage, logistics, distribution and more.

The BVI group is very active, and has just broke ground for its new development in the Mecalys® park in Andenne. The group recently finalised its investment in the Ecolys® park
Spaces of all kinds are available for sale or rental here, from a simple module to spaces spanning several thousand square metres, depending on what you need! The project will include 46 units on a site measuring 13,000 m². The first phase of construction concerns small modules; however, BVI may build larger buildings (around 2,000 m²) at a later date, depending on demand.
